Education: Dr. Basden is a graduate of Auburn University where he earned a Bachelor of science degree and the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Optometry where he earned his Doctor of Optometry degree. He completed his Externship at the Tuscaloosa V.A. Hospital.

Practice Info: Dr. Basden has been in private practice in Auburn since 1993. He also practices at the Auburn University Medical Clinic.

Memberships: Alabama Optometric Association, American Optometric Association, Auburn United Methodist Church. Dr. Basden has served as a Senior Examiner for the National Board of Examiners for credentialing graduating Optometrists.

Family: Dr. Basden and his wife, Katie, reside in Auburn with their three children, Brittany Anne, Kallie, and Bradley.
